  • UK government suppliers lag in modern slavery reporting


    Over 40 per cent of the biggest contractors to the UK’s central government failed to meet the basic legal requirements of Britain’s Modern Slavery Act 2015, a new study has found. The joint Sancroft-Tussell review looked into the modern slavery reporting of the UK’s central government’s top 100 suppliers, which account for £27.5 billion of government contracts.
