A local government authority is seeking to appoint an experienced Governance Officer. This role will provide governance, secretariat and administration assistance and support to the Principal Governance Advisor – Insurance Services with a range of governance and compliance functions.  This is an important role and provides a career progression opportunity by developing a strong understanding of local government and self-insurance from a governance and compliance perspective.  Stakeholder engagement and the ability to establish good working relationships will be a key component of the role for the successful candidate.
