UK governance code gets a major makeover

The UK’s Financial Reporting Council (FRC) has released a completely reworked draft of its corporate governance code for consultation.

The proposed shorter, sharper code places much more emphasis than before on stakeholders, diversity, integrity, corporate culture and on how governance contributes to a company’s long-term success.
