The government has released a second discussion paper on Modernising Business Registersdetailing four areas it would like to take further.

These are:

  1. Legislation: What legislative changes are required to allow for the modernising of business registers?
  2. Registry Service Enhancements: How the government can enhance the services offered and improve the user experience?
  3. Funding registry infrastructure: How should the government fund the business registers in the future?
  4. Director Identification Numbers (DIN): What is the best way to implement a DIN?
