At Warfield & Associates, we’ve had many years’ experience investigating company fraud by employees and third parties in both the public and private sectors. Since 2008 we have been conducting detailed research into more than 1,000 cases of fraud on Australian organisations in order to identify the internal control weaknesses or loopholes that have enabled these frauds to take place and understand the psychology of fraud.
A governance professional must possess a broad skill set to traverse adeptly and fluidly multiple matters, many of which are novel, complex and contentious.
Over the last few months, I have had the privilege of meeting with thousands of charities across Australia at our Ask ACNC sessions. ACNC Commissioner Susan Pascoe AM, Assistant Commissioner Murray Baird and I visited 30 locations around the country, holding events in every capital city, as well as many regional centres.
