Catherine is a Director in RSM's Risk Advisory division, specialising in Climate Change & Sustainability Services. Catherine is heavily involved with helping navigate, activate, manage and improve on integrating sustainability throughout a business so they are compliant and can compete in a rapidly transforming economy.

Armed with an economics background, Catherine understands how businesses must be compliant when reporting on areas of a business. She also acknowledges that businesses need to detect trends in order to survive in the ever-evolving world of innovation.

Being able to leverage this knowledge with her specialty in ESG and sustainability, Catherine has a specialised skillset allowing her to integrate strategies, solutions and risk aversion to businesses across an array of sectors.

Karien Erasmus, Associate Director, RSM Australia

Karien Erasmus is an accomplished Associate Director within RSM Australia's Risk Consulting team in Perth, specialising in Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) services.

Karien's diverse expertise encompasses Carbon & Sustainability Risk Advisory, ESG Reporting, Sustainability Strategy Development, Greenhouse Gas Accounting, Climate Change Risk Assessment, Climate Scenario Analysis, and TCFD Reporting.

Karien's impact on the industry is profound. She has been instrumental in aiding major, listed companies, particularly in the mining sector, in crafting strategic energy policies, climate scenarios, impact analyses, and setting science-based targets.
