Course description
Meetings are an important responsibility for directors. The process by which directors make decisions can be subject to legal action. This course outlines statutory and common law rules in relation to meetings of directors, members, managed investment schemes, class meetings and meetings of creditors. Guidance is provided on good governance practices for the planning and conduct of meetings and procedures in relation to minutes and resolutions.
