Governance Institute’s Mentoring Program is your solution to career progression. Whether you are stepping up in your career or contemplating a career transition, mentoring may assist you in exploring these questions further and paving the way.
By matching you with an experienced professional, you can draw on insights from the perspective of someone who’s been in your shoes. No matter what stage of your career you are at, Governance Institute’s Mentoring Program will support you in your career development.
This 12 week program includes a combination of facilitated workshops, panel discussions, networking sessions and one-on-one mentoring sessions, plus the additional support of a program booklet. Additional telephone or email support will also be provided as required.

Workshop 1 Program Opening:
Wednesday, 7 June 2017 Facilitated workshop for mentees and mentors, plus a networking session.

Workshop 2 Review Workshop:
Thursday, 20 July 2017
Open-forum panel discussion and networking. Facilitated workshop for mentees and mentors.

- Open Forum (both) 5.00pm - 6.00pm
- Mentors 6:00pm - 6:30pm.
Workshop 3 Finale:
Thursday, 31 August 2017
- 5:30pm - 7:30pm.
Mentees provide their cv and complete a short application form which focuses on their experience, aspirations and needs from the mentoring program. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org. There is an application fee of $150 which is then deducted from the cost of the program if you are successfully matched. If we are unable to match you the application fee will be refunded.
Mentors provide their cv, including any specific areas of interest to assist in the mentee/mentor matching process. Mentors find the process to be such a rewarding experience. Please email email@example.com.
Mentors participate in the program on a voluntary basis, no cost is involved. As part of the program you attend facilitated workshops and networking sessions, plus meet one-on-one with your mentee. Mentors really value this opportunity to shape the profession and engage with emerging and experienced professionals.
