This course delves into the evolutionary role of the company secretary. The role has evolved significantly from one as an administrative officer supporting board meetings to a chief governance officer sitting on the fulcrum of corporate governance with strategic responsibility for overseeing and implementing the corporate governance framework.
The aim of this course is to provide a holistic appreciation of the critical governance function highlighting the company secretary as the pivotal element of corporate governance.
