Certificate in Governance Practice
The Certificate in Governance Practice is designed and taught by leading experts in the field of governance. Addressing the learning needs of a wide range of professionals with varying levels of governance responsibilities, this Certificate will provide you with an introduction to good governance practice.
Our Certificates include a mix of compulsory and elective short courses. You can complete these courses online or face-to-face. They are open entry with no prior qualification required.
If you complete a face-to-face Certificate, you have the option to do this via our intensive mode (six short courses across three consecutive days). Please note: when registering for intensive mode, electives will be selected for you, these electives can be changed subject to availability.
To graduate from a Certificate, you must complete and pass the online multiple choice exams for each of the six short courses required for your Certificate, within a 12-month period.
When doing a short course online, your 21-day access to the course recordings and subject materials starts on the day you pay for the short course.

There is no extra fee to register in a Governance Institute Certificate. The cost of a Certificate is the combined cost of the six short courses:

- Non-members: $3,570.
