Certificate in Governance and Risk Management
The Certificate in Governance and Risk Management provides essential knowledge for anyone with governance and risk management responsibilities. Designed and taught by renowned practitioners, you will gain a clear introduction to specialist topic areas and the important issues in relation to governance and risk management principles, frameworks and approaches.
Our Certificates include a mix of compulsory and elective short courses. You can complete these courses online or face-to-face. They are open entry with no prior qualification required.
If you complete a face-to-face Certificate, you have the option to do this via our intensive mode (six short courses across three consecutive days). Please note: when registering for intensive mode, electives will be selected for you, these electives can be changed subject to availability.
To graduate from a Certificate, you must complete and pass the online multiple choice exams for each of the six short courses required for your Certificate, within a 12-month period.
When doing a short course online, your 21-day access to the course recordings and subject materials starts on the day you pay for the short course.

There is no extra fee to register in a Governance Institute Certificate. The cost of a Certificate is the combined cost of the six short courses:
- Members: $2,910
- Subscribers: $3,390
- Non-members: $3,570.
