Certificate in Governance for Not-for-Profits - Online

Combine six short courses (core and elective subjects) to complete a Certificate — the gateway to membership with Governance Institute and industry-recognised postnominals GIA(Affiliated).

This Certificate is designed specifically for those working in or with Not-for-Profit organisations and provides a strong foundation for good governance, recognising the specific requirements of not-for-profit (NFP) organisations. The course will outline the legal and governance frameworks NFP entities operate within, examine the accounting concepts and principles upon which the preparation of financial statements are based and you will walk away with practical tools and tips on not-for-profit governance and risk management matters.

This Certificate allows students to complete the following core and elective online courses:

• an online, 20 question multiple choice exam for each course
• a vocational qualification in your chosen area of study
• practical knowledge and skills that you can readily apply in the work place
