Governance Institute governance

Governance encompasses the system by which an organisation is controlled and operates, and the mechanisms by which it, and its people, are held to account.

Ethics, risk management, compliance and administration are all elements of governance.

As the independent leader in governance and risk management committed to the promotion and advancement of effective governance and administration of organisations in the private and public sectors, Governance Institute has developed its structure and reporting mechanisms to promote these ideals and principles.

The elements of our governance can be viewed by following the navigation contents on the left.
