Clinical governance ensures the quality and safety of healthcare services through systematic monitoring, evaluation, and improvement. Risk management identifies and mitigates potential threats to patient safety and organizational integrity. Without effective governance, healthcare systems may experience increased medical errors, compromised patient and consumer outcomes, diminished public trust, and legal liabilities.
